On March 29th , League1 BC announced it is expanding access to viewers for matches during the 2023 season, with sixteen (16) regular season “Feature Matches” and the league’s Championship Finals being broadcast on its YouTube channel, both live and on-demand.
In addition to the highly accessible viewing option on YouTube, League1 BC is extremely pleased to announce that it will also be airing its “Feature Matches” via TELUS Optik TV on a designated HD channel.
Optik TV customers in BC and Alberta will be able to watch the matches live from the comfort of their homes on channel 1993.
League1 BC’s key pillars of Community, Standards, and Opportunity reflect strongly in this alignment to host matches on the TELUS Optik TV platform as it enables the league to showcase its community-based clubs and their players, in addition to enhancing visibility to all
stakeholders with a high-level broadcast and production.
League1 BC Feature Matches on TELUS Optik TV will provide all clubs with the opportunity to showcase their home venues while increasingly exposing BC talent to more than 1 million TELUS Optik TV subscribers.
